Impero Connect renamed to Netop in 13.05 release

Netop is pleased to announce a release update of Netop 13.05 with new features and branding based on a formal product name change.

Impero Connect is officially renamed to Netop. All Impero Connect applications and portals are being rebranded as Netop as part of the continued commitment to clarity, consistency, and innovation in secure remote access and control.

• All Impero Connect branded applications will now appear as Netop across the product interface, installer packages, documentation, and support materials. The Impero Connect Portal (https://connect.backdrop.cloud) will become Netop Portal (https://portal.netop.com).

• This is a brand identity change only — your current functionality and support experience will remain uninterrupted.

Why the change?
This rebranding reflects an alignment with the trusted Netop brand, known for its secure and efficient remote access and control solutions, and is part of our long-term vision to streamline product offerings under a single, recognisable name.
